Baypark Speedway - 15 December 2007
Saturday 15th December
Heat 1
Ben started 17th on the grid out of 20 cars competing. Unfortunately we did not give him the best set up but he did manage to get up to 7th place.
Heat 2
Ben Started 4th and by turn 1 on the first lap, was in 1st place and pulled away from the field. We gave him an awesome set up. He lapped 16 of the 20 car field.

Feature Race
Ben drew 3 on the grid and got to second. We lost count on how many yellows came on for cars spinning or overdriving but after about the 3rd yellow, a huge clump of clay was thrown up and hit Ben's screen which was badly damaged. The screen was hanging by the centre clip only. Ben tried to rip it off under the yellow but was allowed to continue on. Unfortunately Ben pulled out of the feature as it was too dangerous to continue.
Our next race meeting is Boxing day at Baypark Speedway, Ben is eager to continue on getting the car right for the New Zealand Sprint Car Champs on the 4th and 5th of January at Baypark.
